Jonathan Escobar is a rising politico in Tennessee politics, bringing sharp strategy, deep field experience, and a strong commitment to progressive public policy. As a young Hispanic leader in the state, he has worked at the intersection and led several campaigns, governance, and grassroots organizing to help build durable political power in Tennessee.

With experience spanning congressional and state legislative campaigns, local government, and federal policy, Jonathan has led large-scale field operations, managed volunteer and staff teams, and conducted in-depth legislative and policy research. His work focuses on turning data-driven strategy into real electoral and policy outcomes, with a particular passion for local Tennessee politics, public policy, and constitutional law. In particular, Jonathan has worked on various competitive TN elections, worked at the U.S Department of State, and the City of Murfreesboro.

Outside of work, Jonathan is almost always with his golden retriever, Sunny, a 16-month-old who happily demands more attention than anyone else in his life. He’s an avid tech enthusiast who enjoys building his own computers, diving into constitutional law for fun, and curating an ever-growing collection of brown clothing.
